The 2023 edition of the ION Seek Amp 5/4 Backzip Wetsuit is designed
to provide exceptional stretch and comfort. It introduces a 
cutting-edge innovation called Max Flex, a diamond-shaped inner 
material that offers excellent flexibility while being water-repellent.
With its 5/4mm thickness, this wetsuit delivers ample warmth for
spring, autumn, and even a significant part of winter when combined
with a cap. The outer lining is made from recycled nylon, sourced
from nylon waste to provide an eco-friendly alternative that 
maintains the same quality as conventional linings.
To enhance durability, the lightweight and stretchy IK foam of the 
Seek Amp 5/4 has been partially replaced with oyster shell powder. 
The back and rear thigh areas are lined with Plasma Plush, a 
high-pile fabric that effectively retains heat while remaining 
flexible and quick-drying. The Hot Stuff inner liner, known for 
its softness and superior thermal insulation due to larger loops 
that trap more air, is used at the front of the body. The arms
feature the flexible Silk Stuff inner lining, ensuring unrestricted
movement.
The seams of the Seek Amp 5/4 Backzip 2023 are reinforced for 
strength and waterproofing. High-stress seams are taped with Maki
Tape to provide additional strength and water resistance, while Maco 
tape reinforces areas that experience the most strain. The wetsuit 
features a convenient back zip for easy donning and doffing, with a 
water barrier on the back of the zipper and rubber strips on the neck,
arms, and legs to minimize water ingress. Drainage holes prevent 
water accumulation inside the wetsuit.
